Free Community Food Drop

Hunger in our community doesn’t always look the way we expect. It’s the single mom stretching one paycheck across a whole month. It’s the grandparents raising grandkids on a fixed income. It’s the family that was doing fine until one hospital bill or one missed shift changed everything. These are our neighbors, and on November 17, we get to show up for them.
CalvaryFL and the Daytona Dream Center are partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Word and Praise Radio to host a Free Community Food Drop at our Ormond Beach campus. Families will receive groceries at no cost, no questions asked, while supplies last. But more than food, we want every person who comes through to leave knowing they were seen, welcomed and cared for.
We can’t do it alone, and we don’t want to. We’re inviting local churches, nonprofits, businesses, schools, civic groups, teams and anyone with a heart for their city to serve alongside us. Bring your small group, your staff, your congregation or your family. Whether you lift boxes, direct traffic, greet guests or pray with someone in line, your hands become part of how this community gets fed.
This is what it looks like when the body of Christ and the whole community link arms for the people around us. One morning of serving can carry a family through the week, and remind them they’re not forgotten.
